The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at multiple locations across five states in connection with an ongoing cyber-terrorism investigation. The case is linked to alleged Distributed Denial-of-Service attacks targeting government websites during Operation Sindoor.
The searches were carried out in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Bihar and Delhi. Investigators are examining digital devices and other material collected during the searches.
The investigation is focused on identifying individuals involved in the alleged cyber attacks and determining the wider network behind them. Further action is expected as the investigation progresses.
